I was raised in central Ohio and maintain maybe half of those mid-west sensibilities (the good ones). I attended The Ohio State University for my undergraduate degree and then hopped overseas to Hong Kong to study for my Masters in Interaction Design. I studied, worked and traveled extensively while in Asia. Now that I am back stateside I can see the travel bug is still deeply embedded under my skin, and traveling abroad at least once a year helps to keep it at bay. I have a longstanding love of movies and have developed a near encyclopedic knowledge of film. Two more passions are reading and beer brewing… I know, one builds brain cells and the other destroys.
My aim is to weave together my experience in Interaction and Product design with lateral disciplines to create more meaningful and significant work. I strive to combine design and business to promote social innovation, education, and fun by creating products and experiences that are creative, useful, and engaging.
I work widely within the design disciplines, ranging from:
User Experience / Interaction / Strategy / Digital / Research / Product / Visual
